GERMANY, Oct. 29, 2016 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 9: Two wins in a row for Bayern Munich. After their 2-0 win against Mönchengladbach on October 22, the Bavarians continued their sensational form in the Bundesliga with a 3-1 victory over Augsburg this Saturday.
Robert Lewandowski scored dual goals
Bayern Munich dominated the first half thanks to goals from Lewandowski ('19) and Robben ('21). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Bavarians further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Lewandowski in the 48th minute.
Bayern Munich remains in first place with 23 points from 9 games, a 2-point lead over runner-up RB Leipzig.
