GERMANY, Mar. 19, 2017 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 25: Two wins in a row for Schalke 04. After their 3-0 win against Augsburg on March 12, the Royal Blues continued their sensational form in the Bundesliga with a 1-0 victory over Mainz this Sunday.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Bosnian defender Sead Kolasinac in the 50th minute.
FC Schalke 04 climbed to 9th place with 33 points from 25 games, 2 points behind SC Freiburg.
