GERMANY, Sep. 16, 2017 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 4: Two wins in a row for Augsburg. After their 3-0 win against FC Köln on September 9, Augsburg continued their sensational form in the Bundesliga with a 2-1 victory over Eintracht Frankfurt this Saturday.
Augsburg dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by defender Philipp Max in the 20th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Augsburg players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Caiuby Francisco in the 77th minute.
FC Augsburg climbed to fifth place with 7 points from 4 games, tie on points with Borussia Dortmund, which has a game in hand.
