GERMANY, Sep. 16, 2017 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 4: RB Leipzig was held to a 2-2 draw by Mönchengladbach on Saturday.
RB Leipzig players started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Werner ('17) and Augustin ('31) while Mönchengladbach only scored once Hazard ('25 on penalty). However, even though they were leading 2-1 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Mönchengladbach with a saving goal from Mönchengladbach midfielder Lars Stindl in the 61st minute.
RB Leipzig are down in fifth place with 7 points from 4 games, tie on points with Borussia Dortmund, which has a game in hand.
