Bundesliga (Week 7) : Leipzig defeats FC Köln 2-1
GERMANY, Oct. 1, 2017 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 7: Two wins in a row for RB Leipzig. After their 2-1 win against Eintracht Frankfurt on September 23, Die Bullen continued their sensational form in the Bundesliga with a 2-1 victory over FC Köln this Sunday.
RB Leipzig dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by defender Lukas Klostermann in the 30th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Die Bullen further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Poulsen Yussuf with just 10 minutes remaining in regulation time.
RB Leipzig climbed to fourth place with 13 points from 7 games, only one point behind TSG 1899 Hoffenheim.
