GERMANY, Oct. 1, 2017 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 7: After two straigth victories against Mainz and Schalke 04, Hoffenheim lost 3-2 against SC Freiburg.
Hoffenheim opened the score in the score in the 14th minute thanks to Hack Robin, before SC Freiburg regained the advantage with Niederlechner ('15) and Soyuncu Caglar ('18). Leading 2-1 at the break, the Breisgau-Brasilianer further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Stenzel Pascal with just 3 minutes remaining in regulation time.
TSG 1899 Hoffenheim remains in second place with 14 points from 7 games, 5 points behind Borussia Dortmund.
