GERMANY, Oct. 13, 2017 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 8: After losing 2-1 to Eintracht Frankfurt on September 30, Die Roten returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over FC Köln this Friday.
Stuttgart dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Greek midfielder Anastasios Donis in the 38th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Die Roten further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Akolo Chadrac in stoppage time.
VfB Stuttgart climbed to 10th place with 10 points from 8 games, tie on points with FC Schalke 04, which has a game in hand.
