GERMANY, Oct. 15, 2017 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 8: Two wins in a row for Mönchengladbach. After their 2-1 win against Hannover 96 on September 30, the Foals continued their sensational form in the Bundesliga with a 2-0 victory over Werder Bremen this Sunday.
All the action happened in the first half, with goals from Lars Stindl ('27) and Jannik Vestergaard ('34).
Borussia Mönchengladbach climbed to fifth place with 14 points from 8 games, only one point behind TSG 1899 Hoffenheim.
