COTONOU, Jan. 18, 2017 (AMP) — Gabon 2017 : Gabon tied 1-1 with Burkina Faso (halftime: 1-1), in a AFCON group stage game on Wednesday afternoon at the Stade de l'Amitié in Cotonou.
One goal for both sides in the first half, Aubameyang ('38 on penalty) for Gabon, Nakoulma ('23) for Burkina Faso and none in the second.
The result left both teams on top of Group A with 2 points. In their last game, Burkina Faso will meet third-placed Guinea-Bissau at the Stade de l'Amitié on January 22, while Gabon will face Cameroon.
