Caribbean Cup 2014 : Trinidad and Tobago beats Curaçao 3-2
MONTEGO BAY, Nov. 11, 2014 (AMP) — Jamaica 2014 : Trinidad and Tobago defeated Curaçao by a score of 3-2 (halftime: 2-1), in a Caribbean Cup group stage game on Tuesday afternoon at the Montego Bay Sports Complex.
Kenwyne Jones scored dual goals
Curaçao opened the score in the score in the 18th minute thanks to Meulens, before Trinidad and Tobago regained the advantage with Jones ('26 on penalty, '38). Leading 2-1 at the break, the Trinidadians further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Molino in the 52nd minute.
The result put the Trinidadians top of Group A with 3 points. In their next game, Trinidad and Tobago will meet French Guiana at the Montego Bay Sports Complex on November 13, while Curaçao will face Cuba.
