MONTEGO BAY, Nov. 13, 2014 (AMP) — Jamaica 2014 : Trinidad and Tobago defeated French Guiana by a score of 4-2 (halftime: 1-0), in a Caribbean Cup group stage game on Thursday afternoon at the Montego Bay Sports Complex.
Molino scored dual goals
Trinidad and Tobago dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Molino in the 17th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Trinidadians further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Molino '58, Peltier '62/penalty and Guerra '90).
The result put the Trinidadians top of Group A with 6 points. French Guiana is third with one point. In their last game, Trinidad and Tobago will meet second-placed Cuba at the Montego Bay Sports Complex on November 15, while French Guiana will face Curaçao.
