Caribbean Cup 2014 : Cuba beats Curaçao 3-2
MONTEGO BAY, Nov. 13, 2014 (AMP) — Jamaica 2014 : Cuba defeated Curaçao by a score of 3-2 (halftime: 1-1), in a Caribbean Cup group stage game on Thursday night at the Montego Bay Sports Complex.
Corrales opened the score in the 15th minute, before seeing Curaçao catch up in the 45th minute thanks to Rajcomar. 1-1 at half time. The Cubans eventually won the game in the second period with two more goals by López ('51) and Leiva ('90).
The result put the Cubans second in Group A with 4 points. Curaçao is bottom with no points. In their last game, Cuba will meet group leaders Trinidad and Tobago at the Montego Bay Sports Complex on November 15, while Curaçao will face French Guiana.
