Caribbean Cup 2014 : Haiti draw 2-2 with Antigua and Barbuda
MONTEGO BAY, Nov. 12, 2014 (AMP) — Jamaica 2014 : Haiti tied 2-2 with Antigua and Barbuda (halftime: 2-0), in a Caribbean Cup group stage game on Wednesday afternoon at the Montego Bay Sports Complex.
The Haitians started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Alcénat ('23) and Belfort ('36). However, even though they were leading 2-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Antigua and Barbuda with goals by Weston ('58) and Byers ('60).
The result left both teams on top of Group B with one point. In their next game, Antigua and Barbuda will meet Jamaica at the Montego Bay Sports Complex on November 14, while Haiti will face Martinique.
