MONTEGO BAY, Nov. 14, 2014 (AMP) — Jamaica 2014 : Haiti defeated Martinique by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a Caribbean Cup group stage game on Friday afternoon at the Montego Bay Sports Complex.
Belfort scored dual goals
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with goals by Guerrier ('52) and Belfort ('63, '90).
The result put the Haitians top of Group B with 4 points. Martinique is bottom with one point. In their last game, Haiti will meet third-placed Jamaica at the Montego Bay Sports Complex on November 16, while Martinique will face Antigua and Barbuda.
