MONTEGO BAY, Nov. 14, 2014 (AMP) — Jamaica 2014 : Jamaica defeated Antigua and Barbuda by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a Caribbean Cup group stage game on Friday night at the Montego Bay Sports Complex.
Jamaica dominated the first half thanks to goals from Lawrence ('30) and Mattocks ('43). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Jamaicans further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Austin with just 2 minutes remaining in regulation time.
The result put the Jamaicans second in Group B with 4 points. Antigua and Barbuda is third with one point. In their last game, Jamaica will meet group leaders Haiti at the Montego Bay Sports Complex on November 16, while Antigua and Barbuda will face Martinique.
