COUVA, Jan. 6, 2017 (AMP) — USA 2017 (Qualifiers) : Haiti defeated Suriname by a score of 4-2 (halftime: 2-0), in a Caribbean Cup qualifying game (Fifth place playoff) on Friday night at the Ato Boldon Stadium in Couva.
Haiti dominated the first half thanks to goals from Hérold ('25) and Jean-Baptiste ('42). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Haitians further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Désiré '48 and Faerber '80/own).
