ST. JOHN'S, Oct. 8, 2016 (AMP) — USA 2017 (Qualifiers) : Antigua and Barbuda defeated Puerto Rico by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a Caribbean Cup qualifying game on Saturday night at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in St. John's.
Antigua and Barbuda dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Byers in the 43rd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Antiguans further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Smith with just 4 minutes remaining in regulation time.
