ENGLAND, Oct. 4, 2014 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 11: The match between Wolverhampton Wanderers and Wigan Athletic ended in a 2-2 draw on Saturday.
Wigan Athletic players started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Perch ('32) and Fortuné ('45) while Wolverhampton Wanderers only scored once Edwards ('30). However, even though they were leading 2-1 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Wolverhampton Wanderers with a saving goal from Malian midfielder Bakary Sako in the 64th minute.
Wolverhampton Wanderers FC remains in 7th place with 19 points from 11 games, tie on points with Charlton Athletic FC.
