Championship (Week 18) : Wigan Athletic hold Boro to 1-1

ENGLAND, Nov. 22, 2014 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 18: Middlesbrough was held to a 1-1 draw by Wigan Athletic on Saturday.

Wigan Athletic players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Scottish midfielder Shaun Maloney in the 24th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Middlesbrough with a saving goal from Middlesbrough forward Patrick Bamford in the 58th minute.

Middlesbrough FC remains in third place with 32 points from 18 games, tie on points with AFC Bournemouth.
