ENGLAND, Dec. 13, 2014 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 21: After a 3-0 victory over Brighton & Hove Albion on December 6, the Rams lost 2-0 against Middlesbrough.
Middlesbrough dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward Patrick Bamford in the 6th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Smoggies further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Leadbitter on penalty in the 63rd minute.
Middlesbrough FC climbed to first place with 39 points from 21 games, one point ahead of runner-up Derby County FC.
