ENGLAND, Dec. 13, 2014 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 21: Two wins in a row for Watford. After their 0-5 win against Fulham on December 5, the Hornets continued their sensational form in the Championship with a 2-1 victory over Wigan Athletic this Saturday.
Troy Deeney scored dual goals
Watford forward Troy Deeney opened the score in the 20th minute, before seeing Wigan Athletic catch up in the 45th minute thanks to Chris McCann. 1-1 at half time. The Hornets eventually won the game in the second period with with another goal by Deeney with just 8 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Watford FC remains in 6th place with 35 points from 21 games, 2 points behind Brentford FC.
