Championship (Week 40) : Reading and Cardiff City play to a 1-1 draw
ENGLAND, Apr. 4, 2015 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 40: The match between Reading and Cardiff City ended in a 1-1 draw on Saturday.
Reading players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Russian forward Pavel Pogrebnyak in the 4th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Cardiff City with a saving goal from English forward Conor McAleny in the 90th minute.
Cardiff City climbed to 13rd place with 52 points from 40 games, 2 points behind Sheffield Wednesday FC.
