ENGLAND, Aug. 21, 2015 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 4: The match between Birmingham City and Derby County ended in a 1-1 draw on Friday.
Birmingham City players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Irish midfielder Stephen Gleeson in the 45th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Derby County with a saving goal from Scottish forward Johnny Russell in the 61st minute.
Birmingham City FC climbed to 7th place with 5 points from 3 games, tie on points with Charlton Athletic FC.
