Championship (Week 4) : Cardiff City defeats Wolverhampton Wanderers 2-0

WALES, Aug. 22, 2015 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 4: After three straigth draws, Cardiff City bounced back with a 2-0 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers this Saturday.

Cardiff City dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Trinidadian forward Kenwyne Jones in the 44th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Cardiff City players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Ameobi in the 60th minute.

Cardiff City climbed to 7th place with 6 points from 4 games, only one point behind Queens Park Rangers.
