ENGLAND, Aug. 29, 2015 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 5: After four straigth draws, the Whites returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Derby County this Saturday.
Leeds United dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by midfielder Tom Adeyemi in the 43rd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Whites further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Wood with just 2 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Leeds United FC climbed to 7th place with 7 points from 5 games, tie on points with Queens Park Rangers, which has a game in hand.
