Championship (Week 5) : Hull defeats Preston 2-0
ENGLAND, Aug. 29, 2015 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 5: After losing 2-1 to Charlton Athletic on August 22, Hull returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over Preston this Saturday.
Hull dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Uruguayan forward Abel Hernández in the 37th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Hull players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Davies with just 8 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Hull City climbed to second place with 10 points from 5 games, 3 points behind Brighton and Hove Albion FC.
