ENGLAND, Sep. 17, 2016 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 8: After five straigth victories against Reading, Bristol City, Brighton & Hove Albion, Derby County and QPR, the Magpies lost 2-0 against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Wolverhampton Wanderers dominated the first half as a result of the unfortunate own goal scored by Mbemba Chancel in the 29th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Wolves further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Costa Helder in the 62nd minute.

Newcastle United are down in third place with 15 points from 8 games, 2 points behind Norwich City.
