Championship (Week 16) : Reading defeats Wigan Athletic 3-0

ENGLAND, Nov. 5, 2016 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 16: Three wins in a row for Reading. After their success against Rotherham United and Nottingham Forest, the Royals continued their sensational form in the Championship with a 3-0 victory over Wigan Athletic this Saturday.

Garath McCleary scored dual goals

Reading dominated the first half thanks to goals from McCleary ('1, '5). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Royals further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Kermorgant on penalty in the 63rd minute.

Reading FC climbed to fourth place with 28 points from 16 games, only one point behind Huddersfield Town AFC.
