Championship (Week 16) : Fulham beats Brentford 2-0
ENGLAND, Nov. 4, 2016 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 16: Two wins in a row for Fulham. After their 5-0 win against Huddersfield Town on October 29, the Cottages continued their sensational form in the Championship with a 2-0 victory over Brentford this Friday.
Fulham dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Nigerian midfielder Sone Aluko in the 36th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Cottages further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Cairney Tom in stoppage time.
Fulham climbed to 7th place with 24 points from 16 games, tie on points with Bristol City FC, which has a game in hand.
