Championship (Week 25) : Brentford beats Birmingham City 3-1

ENGLAND, Jan. 2, 2017 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 25: After their 2-2 draw against Cardiff City on December 31 and 0-0 draw against Norwich City on December 31, the Bees returned to winning ways with a 3-1 victory over Birmingham City this Monday.

Birmingham City had started off well by taking the lead in the 23rd minute with a goal by forward Lukas Jutkiewicz. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Bees nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring three times in the second period (Hogan '54, Davis '73 own and Yennaris '87).

Birmingham City FC are down in 13rd place with 35 points from 25 games, tie on points with Aston Villa.
