Championship (Week 24) : Barnsley and Birmingham City play to a 2-2 draw
ENGLAND, Dec. 31, 2016 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 24: The match between Barnsley and Birmingham City ended in a 2-2 draw on Saturday.
Barnsley players started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Bradshaw Tom ('24) and Winnall Sam ('28) while Birmingham City only scored once Maghoma ('33). However, even though they were leading 2-1 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Birmingham City with a saving goal from Birmingham City forward Lukas Jutkiewicz on penalty in the 52nd minute.
Barnsley FC remains in 9th place with 35 points from 24 games, one point behind Fulham, which has a game in hand.
