Championship (Week 24) : Ipswich beats Bristol City 2-1
ENGLAND, Dec. 30, 2016 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 24: After losing 0-2 to Fulham on December 26, the Tractor Boys returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Bristol City this Friday.
Ipswich Town dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by French midfielder Kévin Bru in the 39th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Tractor Boys further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Pitman with just 4 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Ipswich Town FC climbed to 14th place with 31 points from 24 games, only one point behind Preston North End FC, which has a game in hand.
