Championship (Week 23) : Wolverhampton Wanderers defeats Bristol City 3-2
ENGLAND, Dec. 26, 2016 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 23: Two wins in a row for Wolverhampton Wanderers. After their 0-2 win against Nottingham Forest on December 17, the Wolves continued their sensational form in the Championship with a 3-2 victory over Bristol City this Monday.
Bristol City had started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Abraham Tammy ('38) and Flint Aden ('44), while Wolverhampton Wanderers only scored once Edwards ('3). Trailing 2-1 at half time, the Wolves nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Costa Helder '57 and Cavaleiro '84 on penalty).
Wolverhampton Wanderers FC climbed to 15th place with 28 points from 23 games, only one point behind Brentford FC.
