Championship (Week 23) : Reading beats Norwich City 3-1
ENGLAND, Dec. 26, 2016 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 23: Two wins in a row for Reading. After their 2-3 win against Blackburn Rovers on December 17, the Royals continued their sensational form in the Championship with a 3-1 victory over Norwich City this Monday.
Reading dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by French forward Yann Kermorgant in the 37th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Royals further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (McCleary '68 and Harriott '90).
Reading FC remains in third place with 43 points from 23 games, 5 points behind Brighton and Hove Albion FC, which has a game in hand.
