ENGLAND, Dec. 26, 2016 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 23: The match between Brentford and Cardiff City ended in a 2-2 draw on Monday.
Cardiff City players started off well by taking the lead thanks to English midfielder Peter Whittingham on penalty in the 24th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, and despite Zohore Kenneth goal ('89) in the second period, they could not prevent a comeback by Brentford with dual goals from Kaikai Sullay ('83 and '90.
Brentford FC remains in 14th place with 29 points from 23 games, 2 points behind Aston Villa, which has a game in hand.
