Championship (Week 23) : Brighton defeats QPR 3-0
ENGLAND, Dec. 27, 2016 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 23: Four wins in a row for Brighton & Hove Albion. After their success against Leeds United, Blackburn Rovers and Birmingham City, the Seagulls continued their sensational form in the Championship with a 3-0 victory over QPR this Tuesday.
Brighton & Hove Albion dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward Sam Baldock in the 11th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Seagulls further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Murray '53/penalty and Knockaert '69).
Brighton and Hove Albion FC climbed to first place with 51 points from 23 games, a 2-point lead over runner-up Newcastle United.
