WALES, Dec. 17, 2016 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 22: After losing 2-0 to Sheffield Wednesday on December 13, the Tykes returned to winning ways with a 4-3 victory over Cardiff City this Saturday.
Winnall Sam scored dual goals
Cardiff City opened the score in the score in the 3rd minute thanks to Sean Morrison, before Barnsley regained the advantage with Winnall Sam ('19, '32) and Scowen Josh ('43). Leading 3-1 at the break, the Tykes further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Williams in stoppage time.
Barnsley FC remains in 12nd place with 31 points from 22 games, one point behind Preston North End FC.
