Championship (Week 22) : Preston beats Bristol City 2-1
ENGLAND, Dec. 17, 2016 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 22: After their 1-1 draw against Nottingham Forest on December 14, the Lilywhites bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Bristol City this Saturday.
Preston dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Danish forward Simon Makienok in the 21st minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Lilywhites further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Johnson Daniel with just 5 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Preston North End FC remains in 11st place with 32 points from 22 games, one point behind Norwich City.
