Championship (Week 21) : Forest hold Preston to 1-1
ENGLAND, Dec. 14, 2016 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 21: The match between Nottingham Forest and Preston ended in a 1-1 draw on Wednesday.
Preston players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Danish forward Simon Makienok in the 45th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Nottingham Forest with a saving goal from Maxwell Chris into his own net in the 68th minute.
Preston North End FC climbed to 11st place with 29 points from 21 games, 3 points behind Fulham.
