Championship (Week 21) : Sheffield Wednesday beats Barnsley 2-0
ENGLAND, Dec. 13, 2016 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 21: After losing 2-1 to Reading on December 10, the Owls bounced back with a 2-0 victory over Barnsley this Tuesday.
Sheffield Wednesday dominated the first half as a result of the unfortunate own goal scored by Macdonald Angus in the 37th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Owls further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Hutchinson with just 10 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Sheffield Wednesday FC climbed to 6th place with 34 points from 21 games, only one point behind Leeds United FC.
