Championship (Week 21) : Birmingham City beats Ipswich 2-1
ENGLAND, Dec. 13, 2016 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 21: After losing 0-3 to Barnsley on December 10 and 4-0 to Newcastle on December 10, the Blues returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Ipswich Town this Tuesday.
Birmingham City dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward Clayton Donaldson in the 41st minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Blues further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Morrison in the 53rd minute.
Birmingham City FC climbed to 7th place with 34 points from 21 games, tie on points with Sheffield Wednesday FC.
