Championship (Week 20) : Ipswich and Cardiff City play out 1-1 draw
ENGLAND, Dec. 10, 2016 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 20: The match between Ipswich Town and Cardiff City ended in a 1-1 draw on Saturday.
Cardiff City players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Icelandic midfielder Aron Gunnarsson in the 38th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Ipswich Town with a saving goal from Ipswich Town forward Luke Varney in the 52nd minute.
Ipswich Town FC are down in 17th place with 25 points from 20 games, tie on points with Brentford FC.
