Championship (Week 22) : Ipswich beats Wigan Athletic 3-2
ENGLAND, Dec. 17, 2016 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 22: After losing 2-1 to Birmingham City on December 13, the Tractor Boys bounced back with a 3-2 victory over Wigan Athletic this Saturday.
Brett Pitman scored dual goals
Ipswich Town forward Brett Pitman opened the score in the 7th minute on penalty, before seeing Wigan Athletic catch up in the 35th minute thanks to Yanic Wildschut. 1-1 at half time. The Tractor Boys eventually won the game in the second period with two more goals by Pitman ('68) and McGoldrick ('88).
Ipswich Town FC climbed to 15th place with 28 points from 22 games, tie on points with Brentford FC.
