ENGLAND, Dec. 17, 2016 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 22: Three wins in a row for Newcastle. After their success against Birmingham City and Wigan Athletic, the Magpies continued their sensational form in the Championship with a 2-1 victory over Burton Albion this Saturday.
All the action happened in the first half, with goals from Dwight Gayle ('15) and Mohamed Diamé ('34).
Newcastle United remains in first place with 49 points from 22 games, a 4-point lead over runner-up Brighton and Hove Albion FC, which has a game in hand.
