ENGLAND, Jan. 24, 2017 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 24: Two wins in a row for Brighton & Hove Albion. After their 2-1 win against Sheffield Wednesday on January 20, the Seagulls continued their sensational form in the Championship with a 1-0 victory over Cardiff City this Tuesday.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Israelian forward Tomer Hemed in the 73rd minute.
Brighton and Hove Albion FC remains in first place with 60 points from 27 games, a 2-point lead over runner-up Newcastle United.
