Championship (Week 28) : Reading defeats Cardiff City 2-1
ENGLAND, Jan. 28, 2017 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 28: Two wins in a row for Reading. After their 1-0 win against Fulham on January 24, the Royals continued their sensational form in the Championship with a 2-1 victory over Cardiff City this Saturday.
Reading midfielder John Swift opened the score in the 42nd minute, before seeing Cardiff City catch up in the 45th minute thanks to Joe Ralls penalty kick. 1-1 at half time. The Royals eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Kermorgant in the 60th minute.
Reading FC remains in third place with 52 points from 28 games, 6 points behind Newcastle United, which has a game in hand.
