Championship (Week 28) : QPR beats Wigan Athletic 2-1

ENGLAND, Feb. 21, 2017 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 28: Two wins in a row for QPR. After their 1-4 win against Birmingham City on February 18, QPR continued their sensational form in the Championship with a 2-1 victory over Wigan Athletic this Tuesday.

QPR forward Matt Smith opened the score in the 4th minute, before seeing Wigan Athletic catch up in the 17th minute thanks to Bogle Omar penalty kick. 1-1 at half time. QPR eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Washington Conor in the 60th minute.

Queens Park Rangers climbed to 15th place with 40 points from 33 games, tie on points with Brentford FC, which has a game in hand.
