Championship (Week 33) : QPR defeats Birmingham City 4-1
ENGLAND, Feb. 18, 2017 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 33: After losing 1-0 to Blackburn Rovers on February 11 and 1-2 to Huddersfield Town on February 11, QPR returned to winning ways with a 4-1 victory over Birmingham City this Saturday.
QPR dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward Matt Smith in the 18th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, QPR players further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Washington Conor '47, Sylla Idrissa '84 and Ngbakoto '88).
Birmingham City FC remains in 14th place with 40 points from 33 games, one point behind Ipswich Town FC.
