Championship (Week 33) : Wolverhampton Wanderers defeats Brentford 2-1
ENGLAND, Mar. 14, 2017 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 33: Two wins in a row for Wolverhampton Wanderers. After their 1-0 win against Rotherham United on March 11, the Wolves continued their sensational form in the Championship with a 2-1 victory over Brentford this Tuesday.
Brentford had started off well by taking the lead in the 31st minute with a goal by French defender Maxime Colin. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Wolves nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Doherty '86 and Costa Helder '89).
Brentford FC climbed to 14th place with 47 points from 37 games, only one point behind Cardiff City.
