ENGLAND, Mar. 11, 2017 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 37: After losing 1-0 to Huddersfield Town on March 7, the Villans returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over Sheffield Wednesday this Saturday.
Jonathan Kodjia scored dual goals
Aston Villa dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by French forward Jonathan Kodjia in the 34th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Villans further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Kodjia in the 79th minute.
Sheffield Wednesday FC remains in 6th place with 62 points from 37 games, 2 points behind Reading FC.
